AmanaPay – User Guideline

Introduction
AmanaPay is a secure and convenient digital payment wallet that allows users to send and receive money instantly, pay bills, and perform banking services digitally. Whether you’re an individual user, agent, or merchant, AmanaPay simplifies your financial transactions with speed, transparency, and reliability.

  1. Getting Started
    Download the App
    Download AmanaPay from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then tap Install.
  2. Register with e-KYC
    Step 1: Choose Account Type
    Select Individual as your account type.

Step 2: Enter Personal Information
– Enter your National ID Number.
– Enter your Phone Number.
– Create a Password for your account.

Step 3: Verify OTP
You’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS.
Enter it in the app to verify your identity.

Step 4: Complete Registration
Once verification is successful, your e-KYC registration will be completed.

  1. Login & Security Setup
    First-Time Login
    – Enter your registered phone number and password.
    – The app will prompt you to set a 4-digit MPIN for quick and secure access.

Subsequent Logins
– Simply log in using your MPIN.
– You can also enable biometric login (fingerprint or face ID) for faster access.

  1. Main Features and How to Use Them
    4,A. Send SIPS (Interbank Transfers)
    – Tap Send SIPS from the dashboard.
    – Enter the recipient’s bank name, account number, and amount.
    – Confirm the transaction.
  2. Transfer to Amana Bank Accounts
    – Tap Transfer Money → Amana Bank Account.
    – Enter the beneficiary’s account number and amount.
    – Confirm using your MPIN.
  3. Save Beneficiaries
    You can save frequently used recipients (both wallet and bank accounts) for faster future transactions.
  4. Wallet-to-Wallet Transfer
    – Select Send Money → Wallet to Wallet.
    – Enter the recipient’s AmanaPay wallet number or scan their QR code.
    – Enter the amount and confirm.
  5. Cash-In and Cash-Out (Branch Transactions)
    – Visit any Amana Bank branch or authorized agent.
    – Scan the teller’s QR code displayed at the counter.
    – Enter the amount to deposit (cash-in) or withdraw (cash-out).
    – Confirm using your MPIN.
  6. Bill Payments and Services
    Pay bills easily from within the app:
    – Electricity, water, school fees, TV subscriptions, and more.
    – Choose the biller, enter reference details, and confirm payment.
  7. Wallet Top-Up and Bank Linking
    Add funds to your wallet using:
    – Bank account transfer (linked Amana Bank account)
    – Card payment
    – Cash deposit at agent locations
  8. Transaction History
    Track all your transactions in the History section.
    – View payment details, amounts, and dates.
    – Download or share receipts when needed.
  9. Security and Best Practices
    – Keep your MPIN and password confidential.
    – Never share your OTP with anyone.
    – Always download AmanaPay from approved stores only.
    – Regularly review your transactions and report any suspicious activity.
  10. Support and Help
    If you need assistance:
    – Visit the Help Center within the app.
    – Contact AmanaPay Customer Support via in-app chat or email.
    – Visit your nearest Amana Bank branch or authorized agent.
