Amana Bank is committed to protecting your privacy.

1.1 Data Collection: We may collect personal data including name, ID number, phone, email, and transaction details to provide Amana Pay services.
1.2 Use of Data: Your information is used to operate, verify, and improve our services, and to communicate service updates or promotions.
1.3 Data Sharing: Amana Bank does not sell or rent your data. However, it may share data with trusted partners and regulatory bodies when required by law.
1.4 Security: Personal data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Sensitive data transmission is protected using SSL and other secure protocols.
1.5 Customer Rights: You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information as permitted by law.
1.6 Cookies & App Permissions: The Amana Pay App may use cookies and device permissions (e.g., camera, location, media) to enhance user experience. No information is used beyond its intended purpose.

  1. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

2.1 Amana Bank may suspend or terminate your Amana Pay account if:

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected;
  • You breach these Terms or any applicable law;
  • Required by law, regulation, or court order.

2.2 You may terminate this Agreement by closing your account and redeeming any balance, subject to verification.

2.3 Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Amana Pay App and delete it from your device.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All rights to the Amana Pay trademark, software, content, and design are owned by Amana Bank. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the service solely for lawful purposes under these Terms.

  1. SHARI’AH COMPLIANCE

Amana Pay is operated under Shari’ah-compliant banking principles. No interest (Riba) shall apply to any balances or transactions. Any provision conflicting with Islamic law is deemed null and replaced with a Shari’ah-consistent interpretation.

  1. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia, to the extent they do not contradict Shari’ah principles.

In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek amicable resolution; failing which, the matter shall be submitted to the Somali courts for determination.

  1. COMMUNICATION

Amana Bank may contact you via SMS, email, push notifications, or other channels for transaction alerts, promotions, or policy updates. You agree to keep your contact information current.

  1. MISCELLANEOUS
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under this Agreement. Amana Bank may assign its rights to affiliates.
  • Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining terms shall continue in effect.
  • Entire Agreement: This document constitutes the full agreement governing your use of Amana Pay.
